Catawba Valley Pride 2024

The Catawba Valley Pride Board of Directors cordially invites all LGBTQ+ people and allies to their 15th Annual Pride Festival that will be held at our NEW location.  Catawba Farms is located at 1670 Southwest Boulevard in Newton, North Carolina.  The event is on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  This is an all-ages friendly event featuring a vendor fair,  community resources, drag entertainment, music, dancing, food trucks, and “The world’s shortest, people powered, but fastest growing Pride Parade!”.

This year’s theme is “Live, Love, Be.”  Board President Leo Morton said “The right to Live, Love, and Be yourself is vital to the success and happiness of all people despite living in a time where many seek to invalidate us. Pride is about coming together and celebrating in unity the uniqueness of who you are.  We are all as diverse as the colors of the rainbow, but our love and resilience are unified in events such as this one.”
